That would give Diablo 2: Resurrected patch 2.4 a mid-April release date. That would be around four months, fitting that pattern, while allowing more time for testing — and it would allow D2R to run three four-month Ladder seasons in 2022. Though this isn’t guaranteed, it fits the available information.

You can anticipate the PTR will start sometime during the afternoon Pacific Time. If something goes wrong, then it will get delayed.
They said it would start in “a week or so” when the last PTR ended, which was 12 days ago. Whenever that PTR finishes, 2.4 will probably come to the main servers shortly afterwards, followed by an announcement for a ladder start date.
