Longtime Los Angeles, California resident Erica Delgado was pronounced dead by the UMBAA (U-Mich Band Alumni Association) on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.
During this difficult time, our thoughts and condolences are with her friends, family, and community. Erica’s family has provided the following information for any alumni who may wish to attend.
Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 4201 Whittier Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 90023, will host services on October 13, 2023.
The visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed immediately by the graveside service. The family will announce Erica Delgado’s obituary at a later date.

The University of Michigan Band Alumni Association conveyed their sorrow upon learning of Erica Delgado’s (Twirler, 2005-2008) passing on September 25 in their statement announcing her death.
Erica Delgado always set the benchmark high, both on and off the field. In addition to being a great twirler, she was a delight to observe because she was so genuine, loving, and kind. My time in college and with the band would not have been the same without Erica’s efforts.
There was no one better to show you around Los Angeles, and she made an effort to remain positive and hospitable despite difficult circumstances. Her positive attitude and outgoing personality on the field during previous Homecomings will forever be cherished.
